The culture and civilization of the Chinese-Speaking world is explored.
Students in Business Mandarin develop proficiency in listening and speaking in Mandarin dialogue in the business world. Proper pronunciation, tone, and business etiquette are emphasized; students engage in simple business conversation. There is extensive emphasis on business terminology, vocabulary acquisition, and basic grammatical structure. With up-to-date information and material, they develop the necessary skills for effective and accurate oral business communication. The cross-cultural perspective of the Mandarin-speaking business world is explored.
