iRobotics, 1st Semester (Grades K-2)
Fridays, 1:15-2:30 pm
Robotics is not only the future, it is also the present. By familiarizing students with programming, sensors, and automation, they hone critical computational thinking skills needed to succeed in the 21st century’s workforce and everyday life.
Led by Mr. I, iRobotics will let students interact with a variety of science and engineering kits such as VEX, Ozobot Evo Robot Sets, LEGO sets as well as motion robotics that bring creations to life. Beyond science and engineering principles, iRobotics will encourage creativity, teamwork, leadership, passion, and problem-solving among groups.
iRobotics will tap into a children’s natural curiosity and is an interactive class that takes STEM concepts, computer science and computational thinking off of the screen and brings them into the hands of elementary students.
